The coin features a gorgeous high relief strike with an amazingly detailed buffalo shaped cut-out. Big Bold & Beautiful Design

This coin is considerably larger than standard 1 oz silver coins. It measures 50 mm where as standard issues are typically 38 - 40.6 mm.

The reverse features a cut-out buffalo grazing in tall prairie grasses, with a lake and mountain range beyond. Above the silhouette, the series logo of a faceted map of North America appears in a circular frame. In the foreground, an enlarged buffalo gazes forward.

The cut-out buffalo stands on the obverse beside the Coat of Arms for Barbados, contrasted against a field patterned with an ornately curved lattice design.
