This includes roars, thumping on its chest, and even short charges at invading gorillas or other apes. This coin depicts a roaring alpha silverback gorilla.

On the reverse side of 2020 Congo Silver Silverback Gorilla Coins is an image of the Congolese coat of arms. The national coat of arms features a shield with a rampant lion clutching a torch. The shield is supported on the sides by large African elephants with a bar supporting their frames that is draped in the ribbon with the national motto.
