The coin was struck in on a triangular 1oz .999 fine silver planchet. The coin will arrive in a triangular capsule to protect the coin. Breathtaking Naval design:

The Zuytdorp's crew is depicted on the obverse, struggling to reach a lifeboat, while the ship's final moments are memorialized in the background. Below, amongst skeletal remains, an array of distinctive coinage from the Netherlands is scattered across the shore.

The reverse features the Zuytdorp at full sail accompanied by a collection of design elements from the ship itself. When the cleverly designed coin is rotated, the ship appears to be capsized under the surface of the ocean
